I met Shaniece AKA CHA CHA on the set of Greenleaf where she was a Production Assistant. From the moment I met her, I knew there was something special about her and that she would go on to do big things. Once Season 1 of Greenleaf wrapped I didn’t even imagine that she would not be returning for Season 2. As much as I would’ve liked for her to come back and be in the same place because when I tell you she was a beast at her PA job, I am glad that she went on to do bigger and better things and the pursuit of her dreams. I have nothing but love and respect for her for that.
Shaniece began her career in the industry in 2009 when she decided to major in Media Studies at The University of North Carolina-Greensboro (UNCG), and while there she discovered her calling in the entertainment industry. In addition to her training at UNCG, she has trained with Marki Costello, one of the top hosting coaches in America. CHA CHA also has studied improv and acting with Dwayne Boyd at the Premier Actor’s Network, one of the best places to study and one of the best acting instructors in Atlanta.
I love asking what excites people about the entertainment industry because you can get a different answer every time. What excites CHA CHA is the opportunity to reach so many lives in an exciting and magnified way. She focuses her career in hosting, motivational speaking and acting. Her purpose is to change people’s lives and build self-awareness in every shape and form. I dig that about her. Her ability to want to encourage and to utilize the gifts that God has given her for others is an inspiration.
Right now Shaniece is broadcasting “Be A Better You” series on YouTube. It gives people tips on how to live their lives to the fullest and embrace everything that makes you, you. I am super proud of every CHA CHA is doing and for going after her dreams fearlessly. I cannot wait and I wait in eager anticipation to hear about more things coming up for her. She is an inspiration and I admire her tenacity.
